Community native tree planting, release weeding and track clearing working bees:

We would like to plant between 500 -1000 trees every year at Manawa Karioi Ecological Restoration Project in the hills of Island Bay.

Our next planting working bees are in winter of 2025

  • Each Sunday in June - 1pm - 3pm

  • Each Sunday in August - 1pm - 3pm

    All working bees: Meet at the Information Shelter in the Tapu te Ranga Marae carpark signposted from the end of Danube Street in Island Bay. All welcome.
